Colored stone jewelry trends for 2015
2015 will bring us many new trends that are sure to delight the eye. As evidenced by the recent Golden Globes, big dangling earrings made a dramatic appearance on the red carpet.

Some of the styles were timeless classics with Art Deco themes or intricate pave work, but others dazzled with pops of color like the pink sapphires shown to the left.
Another example are these diamond and champagne diamond drop earrings with black rhodium blending elegance with style.

Another brilliant example, literally, are these sapphire and diamond drops that are sure to impress.
Other trends will be mixed media and mixed metals. Designers are showing yellow, white and rose gold mixed with other metals such as silver and brass. Cabochon gemstones are trending with these mixed metals. Surrounding these stones we have seen halos of diamonds complemented by colored enamel or opaque gemstones inlays to add a classic touch. As a tangent to mixed media, assymetry will stick out a bit in 2015. With unique gemstone cuts, opposite colored earrings, and extreme geometrics, you are bound to see some styles that will look very different to you when viewed in a mirror.
The trend we are most excited about is the amount of colored stones pieces we have already seen in 2015! Fashion Houses such as Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, et al., are incorporated an array of magical colors into their fashion pieces. Contrast and use of color to accentuate one's wardrobe will be evident throughout the Pantone color year of Marsala. All and all, we will see experimentation with new shapes, cuts, blasts of color and metals. 2015 is sure to provide some new fashion pieces.
